The ones in DC are definitely on the aggressive side. Some college friends and I once had the idea that we should capture one and introduce it to the Elkins (west virginia) City Park and see what happens. Our theory was that a massive squirrel war would begin. Of course we were never successful in capturing a DC black squirrel and thus the experiment never occurred.

YIKES! A friend once told that black squirrels were a source for good luck. He never said anything about them having anger issues.

I wouldn't mess with a rodent from Jersey. Or any major metropolitan area for that matter. Have you ever met the DC black squirrel? When you approach one, it stands up and puts up it's dukes instead of running away.
